Background
As a Product Designer, I was tasked with designing a user-friendly dashboard for a new E-learning platform. The goal was to provide users with an intuitive interface to easily access and navigate through various courses offered on the platform. The project aimed to enhance the overall user experience, encourage engagement, and streamline the learning process.
The Process
Research and Discovery
Understanding the target audience was crucial. I conducted secondary research and competitor analysis to gather insights into user preferences, pain points, and existing solutions in the market. Discovered key user needs included: easy course discovery, progress tracking, interactive learning experience, and seamless navigation.
Design and Validation
I designed, prototyped, and tested the application with a focus on:
Effortless Navigation: Ensuring users can easily access essential features.
Progress Tracking: I made it easy for users to see how much they've completed. I also set up a way for users to set weekly learning goals and get reminders.
Engagement: Incorporated interactive elements to keep users involved, such as progress trackers, streaks, and assessments.

Reflection
